Eddie MacInante started making furniture in his parents garage while still at school.
Did his apprenticeship with Norm Holyhead in Planthurst Road
Carlton with Holyheads Pty Ltd. (where he met his wife Anne)
1985 – Left employment at Holyheads Pty Ltd and rented part of
Their factory and opened his own business Galdian Pty Ltd manufacturing
Solid timber doors, kitchens and was one of the only companies in
Sydney at the time that manufactured postformed laminated bench tops.
He supplied tops to other kitchen companies – including Attwells
Kitchens where he first met James Attwells.
1990 – Joined James Attwells in Ethell Road, where they rapidly
Outgrew the premises and moved to the current location at
464 The Boulevarde Kirrawee. ( corner Oak Road ) in 1992
Sons Brad and Tim have both completed their apprenticeships
With Attwells Kitchens and continue to work in the business.
Brad runs the CNC machine and Tim is both onsite doing installations
And in the factory.
Anne has worked alongside Eddie since his Holyhead days doing the
Bookwork and the showroom, assisting with colour schemes etc.
